A very high quality roadster with excellent driving and handling qualities. In my collection since 2008. Finished in gorgeous ruby red with tan interior and beige carpets and soft top.
This 356 has an excellent rust free body, undercarriage and floors as to original condition. The body is super straight and has thin panels, all fitting very nicely with excellent and equal gaps.
For a better driving experience, the super engine has been tuned and rebuilt to 100 hp, resulting in superior performances. The electrical circuit has been converted into a 12 volt system, and European type headlights with halogene lights have been fitted.
For better stopping power, the roadster has been equipped with disc brakes front and rear, making the car an ideal contender for rallies and tours. The 5. 5 inch chrome wheels are the finishing touch. The interior has been re-upholstered, including new carpets, floor mats and all new rubber seals. The dash board has been restored as well, with rebuilt gauges and instruments, a 6000 RPM tacho and a wooden Nardi sports steering wheel. This roadster is a California delivery and was always preserved very well. When restored in 2006, it did not need big interventions but rather freshing up and mechanical rebuilt. Unchanged today and in my collection since 2008. The car runs and drives superbly: The engine is a little jewel, has been fully rebuilt and tuned to 100 hp. It runs very strong and pulls up effortless to 6. 000 RPM. The roadster is very responsive to the throttle and fast in accelaration.
